Fundraising for At Risk Youth in NJ – to Honor a Cherished Horse
March 1st, 2013
Announcement:
The CHIVAS Memorial Fund (formerly The Justice for Chivas Fund – see NJ.com article below) will now be donating all money raised in honor of Chivas, a wonderful and beloved Pittstown, NJ horse who lost his life too soon, to nonprofit organization Spring Reins of Life for the purpose of providing EAP and EAL services to At Risk Youth in New Jersey. The reason for this shift in motivation is to allow Chivas’ legacy to be a cause for good, and hopefully to prevent a tragedy of this nature from ever re-occurring.
