Horses healing emotional trauma in NJ – PIX 11 Morning News with Lisa Mateo
September 19th, 2014
On Friday, September 19th, 2014 The PIX 11 Morning News came out to Foxx Creek Farm with their satellite crew and the Dunkin Donuts “On the Run” coach truck to do a LIVE double segment on the work that we do at Spring Reins of Life. Horses helping at risk / high risk youth, PTSD veterans, and children in bereavement. Trauma survivors really may not want to “talk about it”, and sometimes cannot talk about it. That is okay, because with the horses we are able to provide a safe place to become grounded, be at peace and navigate feelings all without be vocal. Just being. Thank you to PIX 11 News, Lisa Mateo, our home at Foxx Creek Farm, our Volunteers, our Military Advisory Board, and of course to Our HORSES!
