Spring Reins of LIFE on Verizon Fios Push Pause (Veterans and Horses, October 2013)
This video was taken in October 2013 at a Demonstration of EAP Services for Veterans called “Operation HORSE” from Spring Reins of LIFE 501c3.
Spring Reins of Life (SRoL) was temporarily located in Broadway NJ for approximately 9 months during 2013. In April 2014 SRoL found and moved to its current & permanent home in Hillsborough NJ. Also in 2014 Spring Reins of Life became the first EAGALA Model program to earn the Military Services Provider Certificate in New Jersey.
We hold demonstrations to help illustrate How and Why Horses are so effective at helping veterans with PTSD, TBI and MST find coping skills and a place of peace. Most combat veterans do not really want to “talk about it”…Our Horses offer a safe and authentic opportunity to find peace, establish present moment and mindfulness and to rebuild TRUST…all without saying a single word!
